This book is written for teachers of mathematics at secondary levels, for people training
to be such teachers, and for those who profess a love of geometry. It can also be profit-

In this book, an axiomatization will be found which bases geometry on the
concepts of parallelism, perpendicularity and distance in a manner that rapidly, natur-
ally and easily brings out the algebraic structure of the plane and space.
